Altar Serving Training Session

We are excited to announce a new year of Altar Serving at Holy Trinity!

It is an enormous privilege to be an Altar Boy for he is close to the Altar at the moment of
consecration, the moment that Jesus becomes present in the Eucharist. The only creatures who are closer are the clergy and the angels. The Altar Boy has the privilege of being one of the first to receive our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament, and sets the example for the rest of the congregation by showing the proper attitude, movement, gestures, and attire for the Holy Mass. 

Altar Serving is open to boys in the 4 th grade or higher, and who have received their first Holy Communion. 

Every new Altar Boy must attend a mandatory training session before being placed in the serving rotation. This session will be on Saturday, September 21 at 1:00 in Holy Trinity Church. We will have another, shorter session the following day (Sunday, September 22) after the 9am Mass for any who are unable to attend on Saturday.
